Dr. Cadiz presents an award to Dr. Height at the 30th Annual Mary McLeod Bethune Recognition Program Luncheon of the National Council of Negro Women at the Marriott Marquis on Saturday, May 15th, 2004. Dr. Height was described as “a moving force in the struggle for equality and human rights for more than 60 years,” in July/August issue of The AARP Magazine.

Dr. Cadiz is delighted to meet Ms. Moore and get a signed copy of her newest CD entitled “I’m Still Here” at her first New York appearance at LaGuardia Community College after a long absence from the stage. The crowd was thrilled by her stunning voice and her winning grace and charm.
